How do I save my writable templates?

There are two ways to save
 
Save within itc thinkdrive
  • Use this if you have not finished your template and wish to continue editing it later
  • Click on the 1st icon on the menu bar (the icon of a disk)
  • Name your file but ENSURE you keep the .xml at the end
 
Save to my own computer outside itc thinkdrive
  • Click on the 2nd icon (the icon of the arrow coming out of a square)
  • If you click Save - it will save to your Downloads folder in most cases, where you can Export into any of your Directories (or Export as a pdf and save anywhere)
  • If you save as in pdf format, it has lots of functions, like speech bubbles where you can make comments on the template
 

How do I print my writable templates?

You cannot print directly from your web browser, you must print within the itc thinkdrive application.
  • Click the 4th button from the left (the icon with the 3 horizontal dots), which displays a menu bar.
  • Click 'File' then select 'Print', From here, uou also have the option of Print preview.
 

How do I export my writable templates?

  • Click on the 2nd icon (the icon of the arrow coming out of a square).

How can I pay for thinkdrive?

Credit Card

Visa and Mastercard are accepted. AMEX is not available for online orders. If you're interested in buying the thinkdrive Personal Edition you must use a Credit Card to purchase this license.

Credit Card Processing

Online credit card transactions are processed using eWay (www.eway.com.au). This gives you the highest level of credit card security. The AMEX option is not available through eWay.

Your Credit Card Statement

Your credit card statement will show the supplier as itc publications Pty Ltd.

Other Payment Methods

Schools and educational institutions may also purchase thinkdrive via Bank Transfer or request to be invoiced.

Payment by Bank Transfer

This option is available for the thinkdrive School Licence only.

Select the product you wish to purchase and proceed to the checkout. To pay using a Bank Transfer, please select ‘Bank Transfer’ when you arrive at the ‘Review Order’ stage of the purchasing process. Please follow the instructions that appear when you select the ‘Bank Transfer’ option. When making your Bank Transfer please ensure that you use your school name plus the letters ‘tds’ as the transfer reference. After taking note of the information that loads on your screen you can continue to the ‘Complete Checkout’ stage of the purchasing process.

Upon completing your checkout process you will receive an email stating that ‘Your Order is Complete’. You will also receive a separate email from the itc thinkdrive team with your account and log-in details that provide you with access to the resource.

Payment by Invoice

This option is available for the thinkdrive School Licence only.

Select the product you wish to purchase and proceed to the checkout. To pay using a school invoice, please select ‘Invoice’ option when you arrive at the ‘Review Order’ stage of the purchasing process.  Continue to the ‘Complete Checkout’ stage of the purchasing process. Upon completing your checkout process the thinkdrive account holder will receive an email stating that ‘Your Order is Complete’. Your school will receive an invoice within three working days. Upon receipt of payment the thinkdrive account holder will be contacted by email with thinkdrive log-in details to provide access for your school.

How long does a thinkdrive licence last?

All licences are issued on a per annum basis. You will have access to the resource for exactly one year from the day that you purchase thinkdrive. You will be contacted in the lead-up to the expiration of your licence to remind you to reinvest in thinkdrive. 

What if my school doesn't fit within the School Licence pricing categories?

If your school would like to purchase the School Licence but does not fall into one of the three school categories (Primary, Secondary or K-12), please contact itc publications.

How much does thinkdrive cost?

Access to thinkdrive is provided via an Annual Subscription. The prices are:

itc thinkdrive personal edition:

$38.50 including GST p.a

itc thinkdrive School Licence:

Primary School: $660 including GST p.a

Secondary School: $880 including GST p.a

K-12 School: $1320 including GST p.a

What currency is used to pay for thinkdrive?

Prices on the itc thinkdrive website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. The actual price billed in your currency may differ to the rate listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). This price is subject to fluctuation and credit card companies may charge a commission.

How do I access thinkdrive from my iPad or Android device?

You can access thinkdrive from your iPad or Android device using two different methods: 

a) Accessing thinkdrive using your web browser: open your web browser and type www.thinkdrive.com.au in the URL bar. When the page loads locate the 'SIGN IN' button at the top of the page. Click this and log-in.

b) Accessing the itc thinkdrive app: When you have purchased your annual thinkdrive subscription through the itc thinkdrive website (www.itcthinkdrive.com.au) you are entitled to download the itc thinkdrive app for free. Downloading and using this app will allow you to access your itc thinkdrive resource and materials offline. Your itc thinkdrive app is available via the iTunes App store for iPad and via the Google Play store for Android. To download the app search for 'itc thinkdrive' in your iTunes App store or the Google Play store. A direct link to the app is here: https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/itc-thinkdrive/id620172755?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4When you open the application for the first time it will direct you to the log-in page, which is where you enter your thinkdrive username and password. You will receive your itc thinkdrive log-in account details when you have paid for your subscription on the www.itcthinkdrive.com.au website.

 

You will stay logged in to the App until you close the application or logout via the links available on the My Account page.

 

 

 

How do I reset my password?

itc thinkdrive School Licence Holders

The itc thinkdrive School Licence provides your school with one account only. This means that everyone at your school uses the same username and password to access the resource. Therefore, only the nominated thinkdrive account contact at your school can make password changes to the account. If you are the thinkdrive account contact for your school please contact itc publications to reset your password.

If you are not your school's thinkdrive account contact and have lost your password please get in touch with the thinkdrive account contact at your school. 

itc thinkdrive Personal Edition Users

To reset your password when not logged in:

  • Navigate to the Log-in page via the SIGN-IN link in the top right hand corner.

  • Select ‘forgot my password’.

  • This will send you an email that contains details on how to reset your password.

  • After logging in follow the steps under ‘To reset your password, when logged in’

To reset your password when logged in:

  • Navigate to your account via the ‘MY ACCOUNT’ button on the application or the website.

  • Select ‘EDIT MY PROFILE’ from the list of links on the left hand side.

  • Enter your new password within the PASSWORD field.

  • Enter your password again within the CONFIRM PASSWORD field.

  • Select Save.

I have just ordered thinkdrive. How do I log-in to thinkdrive?

I have nominated to pay via Credit Card: During the checkout process an email address would have been nominated as the order’s contact email. Upon successful completion of the checkout process this email address will be sent a confirmation email titled ‘Your Order is Complete’. You will also receive a separate email from the itc thinkdrive team with your account and log-in details that provide you with access to the resource.

I have nominated to pay via Bank Transfer: During the checkout process an email address would have been nominated as the order’s contact email. Upon successful completion of the checkout process this email address will be sent a confirmation email titled ‘Your Order is Complete’. When the funds have been received by itc publications this email address will receive a separate email from the itc thinkdrive team that contains the account and log-in details.

I have nominated to pay via invoice on the thinkdrive website: When payment has been received the thinkdrive account holder will be sent an email that contains log-in details for your school.

I have ordered via Phone, Fax or Email: itc publications will contact you once you have submitted your order to step you through the payment and access process.

If our school purchases the thinkdrive School Licence, will everyone have access to their own thinkdrive account?

No. If an itc thinkdrive School Licence is purchased your school will be provided with one thinkdrive account. Staff and students will use the one username and password to access your school’s thinkdrive account. The responsibility of distributing the username and password for this account lies within your school and is not the responsibility of itc publications. The log-in details for your school’s thinkdrive account are emailed to the account email address nominated during the checkout process.

How do I access thinkdrive on my web browser?

To access thinkdrive on your web browser type www.itcthinkdrive.com.au into the URL bar at the top of a new internet page. When this web-page loads, locate and click the ‘SIGN IN’ icon on the top right-hand side of the thinkdrive website. When the ‘SIGN IN’ page loads, enter your Username and Password and click the ‘LOG IN’ icon at the bottom of the web-page.

I’ve forgotten my password. What do I do?

Please note that due to Privacy Laws the itc thinkdrive team cannot recover and provide you with your password. If you have forgotten your password you will need to reset it.

How do I import an image into my writable template?

Click on the 4th last icon (if you hover over, it will say 'image')
Paste the URL for the image 
 

Is there a thinkdrive app?

The thinkdrive application is available via the iTunes App store for iPad and via the Google Play store for Android. This app is free to download and use. To download the app search for 'itc thinkdrive' in your iTunes App store or the Google Play store. When you have downloaded the app all you need to do is enter your thinkdrive username and password to access the application. How do I set-up Dropbox on my device?

Follow these steps to set up Dropbox on your iPad or Android device:

1. Sign up for a Dropbox account here https://www.dropbox.com/

2. After signing up for a new account via the steps above you can now download the Dropbox app to your iPad or Android device via this link https://www.dropbox.com/mobile

NOTE: you can also access the Dropbox iPad application via the iTunes App Store and the Android version via the GooglePlay store

3. Once you have installed the Dropbox application to your iPad or Android device you will now be able to save PDFs straight to your Dropbox.

Follow these steps to set up Dropbox on your computer:

1. Sign up for a new account here https://www.dropbox.com/

2. Install the Desktop application from here https://www.dropbox.com/install

3. This allows for easy access on your computer. You can still access all files via your Dropbox account within a web browser.

Does thinkdrive download and install onto computers?

No, thinkdrive is a web-based resource that doesn’t need to be installed onto your device. 

What devices can I use to access thinkdrive?

thinkdrive operates on PC, Mac, Apple (iPad) and Android devices. Smart phone capability is limited.

What are the operating requirements for thinkdrive?
