Q: What is thinkdrive?

thinkdrive is a one-stop digital resource for unpacking all your regularly-used cognitive verbs, access to feedback strategies, cooperative learning tools, vocabulary building resources and much more.

There are downloadable and writable templates for all the itc thinking tools and feedback strategies, saving hours of work.

Other resources include practical material on cooperative learning, vocabulary building, lesson quick starts and reading certificates.

Q: How do I access and use thinkdrive?

Q: Do you need training to use thinkdrive?

thinkdrive is intuitive and simple to use; no training is required. However, we can provide support where necessary. For school licences and where possible, we provide a FREE 45-60 minute workshop on thinkdrive.

Q: How much does thinkdrive cost?

Individual Licence (12 months)

$64.95 including GST p.a

School Licence (12 months)

This is the most affordable and convenient way of purchasing thinkdrive for every teacher and student in your school. It provides unlimited access for 12 months.

Primary School: $660 including GST p.a

Secondary School: $880 including GST p.a

K-12 School: $1,320 including GST p.a

If your school would like to purchase a school licence but does not fall into one of the three school categories (Primary, Secondary or K-12), please contact itc publications directly.

Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Credit Card Processing

Online credit card transactions are processed using Stripe. This gives you the highest level of credit card security. We charge no credit card fees when processing payments.

Payment by Invoice

This option is available for the thinkdrive School Licences only. Your school will be invoiced with 14-day payment terms. Please select the 'Invoice' option when purchasing a school licence, or contact us directly to discuss different terms.

Q: Are the thinkdrive and Queensland Curriculum Assessment Authority (QCAA) cognitive verbs aligned?

Yes.

The definitions of the 66 cognitive verbs on thinkdrive are aligned with QCAA. The 66 cognitive verbs are unpacked with a student-friendly definition, aligned thinking tools, sentence starters / connectives and assessment response exemplars. They are clustered in 15 Major Verb headings.

Q: How do I access thinkdrive in my web browser?

To access thinkdrive on your web browser click on "Go to Thinkdrive" on the home page.

Q: Can my school trial thinkdrive?

Yes! Please contact us directly for a free 30-day school trial.

Q: Is thinkdrive hosted in Australia?

Yes - with Amazon Web Services (Sydney).

Q: Does thinkdrive store school data?

No. The resources on thinkdrive are for viewing and / or downloading. There is no storage of student or teacher data.

Thinkdrive does record usage statistics with Google Analytics, however this data is anonymised. Thinkdrive does not recognise individuals in the data, as they all appear as different sessions from the same "user".

Q: Does everyone access thinkdrive from our school as the same user?

Yes. Each school licence is supplied both its own Username and Password and a unique URL to ensure easy access.

School administrators are supplied with a username and password which they can use to log in and manage the school subscription.

All student and teacher users log in to the content component using a unique URL link which identifies them as an authenticated user from that school. This link does not give those users access to subscription or billing information.

Note: Each school has different user accounts.

Q: What are the Copyright terms and conditions of thinkdrive?

Individual licences: Allows the individual and paid user access to all resources and information on thinkdrive, including the downloading of resources for the duration of their subscription.

All the materials on thinkdrive are copyright. No part of it may be reproduced by any means whatsoever or stored in any retrieval system or transmitted in any form without a current thinkdrive licence or without prior permission of the copyright owners as prescribed under the Copyright Act 1968.

DO NOT share your login details with other users, as this will give access to your account details, as well as being a breach of copyright.

School licences: Allows every registered student and employed teacher at the school full access to thinkdrive; including off-campus access for the duration of your subscription.
